While attending a UCLA homecoming game recently, my fellow classmates and I enjoyed a Chancellor’s luncheon prior to the event. There were lots of really great meal selections! There was a huge bowl of fresh salad among the various meal choices. Next to the salad bar were two bottles: olive oil and balsamic vinegar. A simple salad dressing solution without the mess! Since attending that event, I rarely make homemade dressing like ranch any more. We keep it simple by having these two bottles of extra virgin organic olive oil and balsamic vinegar on hand. The two make a great and simple dressing together. Our meals are often accompanied by a fresh garden salad, so we often dip our sandwiches or pizza in the remaining dressing on our plates. Yummy!
