My motto is, “There is more than one way to bake a really good cake.”  This means that education should be personalized to meet your child’s personality and gifts.  I believe that there are infinite combinations of curriculum to best educate your child.  This list’s purpose is to give you a starting point and is a list of my favorite curriculum to date.

DAILY READING PLAN

  1. Shared/Narrative Reading-Teacher reads to the student while the student listens, processes, and comprehends literature.
  2. One To One/Small Group Reading-Student reads to the teacher with direct instruction.
  3. Independent Reading-Student reads books independently.
  • If the learner is too young to read, have them do “book look” by looking at the print and pictures.
